Lead Instructor, Oliver Klokman became a certified Kiteboarding instructor in 2012. While earning an MSC in both Marine Bio and Global health, Oliver has traveled the globe. During his travels he taught for various Kiteschools giving him a unique and diverse understanding in the many approaches to teaching this great sport. This experience has given him unparalleled patience and the ability to adapt his lesson structor to each students needs. When not chasing wind and waves, he divides his time between teaching in Florida and furthering his studies Abroad.
Brett was born within 5 minutes of the atlantic shore and water sports are truly in his blood. Brett has been coaching various water sports for over 17 years and has established one of the areas largest Surf Schools (Cowabunga Surf and Water Sports Camp). Brett is extremely passionate about Kiteboarding and has taken his knowledge of teaching surfing and transferred it to Kiteboarding with outstanding results. Brett has taught over 8,000 successful Surf, Wakeboard and Kiteboarding lessons. He has worked with students ranging from 3 to 82 years of age!
Brett is our go to coach for youth lessons. He has a deep passion for inspiring children and teens to build their character and confidence in and out of the water. Brett has led and mentored children and youth for well over a decade. He served as a summer camp counselor at Kanakuk Kamps in Branson, Mo. for five consecutive years, worked full time for Boosterthon Fun Run for four seasons, and has served, and continues to serve, as a youth leader at local churches.
Billy is a certified instructor and has been instructing kiteboarding for the past 6 years. Billy started kiting in 2006 and has been in love with the sport ever since. He has been kiteboarding in many different locations including up and down the east coast, California, and Aruba. Billy loves passing along his enthusiasm for the sport to his students.
